De fuentes oficiales y públicas: NOAA, el Servicio Nacional de Meteorología, CARICOOS, el DRNA, Surfrider, el Programa del Estuario, Copernicus y más. Para el oleaje combinamos las boyas con el modelo SWAN de CARICOOS, así que hay lectura de olas aunque no haya una boya cerca. En calidad del agua cruzamos tres laboratorios y usamos la muestra más reciente y más cercana, no la primera que aparezca. Cada lectura muestra la fuente y la hora exacta detrás del dato.
From official, public sources: NOAA, the National Weather Service, CARICOOS, the DRNA, Surfrider, the San Juan Bay Estuary Program, Copernicus and more. For surf we combine the buoys with the CARICOOS SWAN model, so there is a wave reading even where no buoy is nearby. For water quality we cross-check three labs and use the most recent, closest sample rather than the first one we find. Every reading shows the exact source and time behind the data.

The sargassum forecast comes from satellites, but since version 2.3 anyone standing on the beach can report how much seaweed there is, from 1 to 10. It is anonymous, you can only report while you are there, and it expires after 12 hours.
